Feeding of Sorted Vials

This vial feeding system enables the automated loading of vials or bottles into transfer carts, their secure transport to another production area, and the subsequent automated unloading.

A typical application is the connection between the outfeed of a filling machine and the infeed of an inspection or packaging machine located in separate rooms or cleanroom areas.

The transfer cart is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel and POM, making it suitable for cleaning and disinfection using standard process chemicals.

The drawers are equipped with interchangeable POM magazines that can be adapted to different vial formats. In its standard configuration, the system accommodates 2R, 6R, and 10R vials, with larger vial or bottle formats available as an option.

An integrated robotic station handles the automatic opening and closing of the drawers as well as the loading and unloading of the vial rows.

When configured as a dual unit, the system can also function as a FiFo buffer, enabling AQL inspections without interrupting production and allowing repeated inspection cycles in the AVI when required.
